Mr. Abu Sufian Chowdhury is the Managing Director and Chairman of Modern Poly Industries Limited. He has been looking after the business for the last 20 years. Mr. Sufian is also the Managing Director of Modern Hatchery Limited. Modern Hatchery is the Pioneer shrimp hatchery industry in Bangladesh. Modern Hatchery received gold medal from The Prime Minister of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh in 2017 for its outstanding contribution for countries economy by promoting shrimp industry. He is also the Managing Director of Bismillah Fabrics, Modern Syntex Limited and a number of companies under the Group. He also holds Directorship Status in a number of companies. Mr. Sufian is a Life member of Bhatiary Golf and Country Club, Chittagong Maa O Shishu Hospital. He is the Permanent member of Chittagong Club Limited. Mr. Sufian is involved in a number of philanthropic organizations by being a Founder member of Abdus Salam Foundation, Advisor of Ever Bright Foundation (EBF) and Society for Cerebral Palsy Children. Mr. Sufian visited many countries in Europe, Asia and North America, namely, Australia, China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Qatar, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Turkey, Germany, Spain, USA, Switzerland etc.
Mr. Sufian had been the Managing Director Modern Poly Industries Limited since it started its venture in 2002.
