Located in Zone# 06, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar, Mirsarai, Chattogram – Modern Syntex Limited is a Continuous melt to yarn and melt to fiber Project which is currently in its development stage. It is being established with world-renowned technology from Oerlikon, Germany. The Project is the first-ever of its kind in Bangladesh. The Project is expected to start commercial operation in 2024. It will produce 460 Ton Per Day of Finished and Intermediary Goods, consisting of Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) @ 225 Ton Per Day, Draw Textured Yarn (DTY) @ 100 Ton Per Day, Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) @ 27 Ton Per Day, and Polyethylene Terephthalate Granules @ 108 Ton Per Day.
